Facility Trainer Certification
(Days 1-3)
This course covers both the Beginner and Advanced Facing Emergencies And Reacting, Crisis Intervention Training™ courses, and will provide organizations with their own Certified Trainers on staff. Having an on-site trainer will allow your facility to conduct in- house certifications of the Beginner, and Advanced courses, at dates and times that fit into demanding staffing schedules.
In addition to the cost savings, having Certified Trainers on-site also allows for continual assessment of their prospective organizations responses to crisis intervention. This on-going assessment will ensure that current procedures and policies of the institution are being followed and respected when it comes to crisis situations.
As a student of this course, you will learn how to tailor future training courses to address specific workplace issues that may arise at your workplace. You will receive individualized instruction from CCG instructors who will conduct specific assessments of your skills and abilities to ensure full and proper understanding of the entire CCG, LLC Facing Emergencies And Reacting, Crisis Intervention Training™ curriculum; ensuring you are prepared and understand the responsibilities that come with becoming a Certified Trainer within your workplace.
Facilities that choose this Train the Trainer option will also have the option to receive a 6 month “Re-fresher Course” for a minimal charge plus travel expenses (if applicable). CCG Instructors will return to your facility and provide a mid-year review and instruction for yourself, and fellow Certified Trainers to help renew your knowledge base and address any issues or concerns that may have surfaced over the previous 6 months. Additionally, as a Certified Trainer, (CT) you will have direct access to CCG Master Instructors, allowing you to consult with an Authorized CCG representative at no charge, any time for follow on discussion, assistance, or related information.
As a CT you will be updated by CCG Headquarters to any policy or procedure changes that will ensure they are aware of new Federal or State legislation related to crisis intervention which may apply to your workplace. CCG will maintain all certification information of all training courses that you conduct, and will be happy to field any questions that may arise about employees / or other staff that you trained, when the training occurred, and related information. This information will greatly aid your administrators or human resource departments in keeping track of specific employee certification and training records.
There is a practical review and competency based testing upon conclusion of course for certification.
